Name Derivation:
Named in honour of Sir John Hindmarsh KH RN, 1785–1860. Hindmarsh was the first Governor of the Colony of South Australia (1836–38).

  • part of the City of Charles Sturt,
  • part of the City of Port Adelaide Enfield, and
  • part of the City of West Torrens
