Accessible information

Official Election and Referendum guides will become available in several blind and low vision formats prior to each event. Alternatively, you can call 13 23 26 to request hard copy formats: Braille (Grade 1 or Grade 2), large print, CDA audio on CD, MP3 audio on USB, DAISY audio on USB or eText on USB. You can also request an email version of eText by calling 13 23 26.

Easy Read

The AEC provides a number of Easy Read formatted guides, including official guides for Elections and Referendums. These guides will become available prior to each event.

Pictures are used to explain some ideas.

Easy Read guides are also available in Arabic, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Hazaragi, Hindi, Karen, Nepali, Somali, Spanish, Swahili, Tigrinya and Vietnamese.
