Early voting centres are not open on ANZAC Day or Sunday 27 April. Most early voting centres will be open on Saturday 26 April but please check the opening dates and times on our Where To Vote tool.
Election day is Saturday 3 May 2025.
You can vote at any polling place in your state or territory on polling day. Polling places are usually located at local schools, churches and community halls, or public buildings.
Hundreds of early voting centres will be open progressively across the country from Tuesday 22 April 2025 and will run up to and including Friday 2 May.
Check the opening dates as not all early voting centres are open for the entire two-week early voting period.
All early voting centres will be closed on Easter Monday, 21 April, and Anzac Day, Friday 25 April.

If on polling day you are outside the state or territory where you are enrolled, you will need to vote at an interstate voting centre. You can find interstate voting locations on our where to vote tool. If you are interstate during the early voting period, you can vote at any early voting centre across the country.
