Detailed close of rolls figures

Media, journalists and other interested individuals are advised that figures are now available showing the number of electors enrolled to vote in the 2013 federal election for each electorate (electoral division). This information is broken at:

On Friday 16 August, the AEC issued a media release with national and state/territory level figures, and a breakdown by age group for voters enrolled for the 2013 federal election.

Editor’s note:
Total figures for ‘first time enrollers’ are not available. However, some insights can be gained with respect to younger voters by comparing the 18-19 and 20-24 age groups at the 2013 election to that at the 2010 federal election using the above links.
