Eden-Monaro by-election: Initial payment to political parties

Parties or candidates that received the required 4 per cent of the formal first preference vote cast at the 4 July 2020 Eden-Monaro by-election have each received an initial payment of $10,344.25.

The total amount of the initial election funding payment is $51,721.25.

The following table is a breakdown of political parties eligible to receive the initial payment.

Further payments

Further election funding payments made to political parties are based on demonstrated electoral expenditure.

Election funding claims for further payments can be submitted to the AEC during the period from 24 July 2020 to 3 January 2021. The AEC will assess these claims and determinations will be published on the Transparency Register.
