The AEC's “Your vote will help shape Australia” campaign is a national public information and advertising campaign to support people to enrol and vote this federal election.

Advertising and other activities start when the election is announced. Channels include television, cinema, radio, print, digital and social media and outdoor. The Your official guide to the 2022 federal election booklet is also delivered to households across Australia and the AEC website is a key hub of information.

There are three phases:

• enrolling and updating your details (enrolment period finished 18 April)
• voter services (including early voting options and eligibility)
• how to vote correctly.

Other information is provided throughout these three phases of the public information and advertising campaign:

• how to ‘stop, check and consider’ the source of electoral communication
• the COVID-19 safety measures that will be in place this election.
