These statistics are published on a quarterly basis for all states and territories. The enrolment rate is calculated using an estimate of the total number of people eligible to enrol.
The figures include: the number of Australians enrolled federally; the estimated number of eligible Australians; the proportion of eligible Australians enrolled; and the estimated number of eligible people not enrolled.
