Lindsay 1996 by-election

On 11 September 1996 the Court of Disputed Returns ruled that the election in the Division of Lindsay was void. The writ for the by-election was issued on 16 September 1996.

There were 81 659 electors enrolled for the 19 October by-election. The Divisional Returning Officer for Lindsay declared Jackie Kelly (LP) as the new Member on 25 October 1996.
