Queensland redistribution

Members of the public are invited to submit written suggestions for the redistribution of Queensland from Wednesday 16 September 2026.
It is recommended that individuals or organisations lodging a suggestion refer to the redistribution criteria used by the Redistribution Committee.
In developing a suggestion regarding the boundaries of federal electorates, it is strongly recommended that members of the public consider the redistribution and projected enrolment quotas as these form two key elements that underpin the redistribution.
Submissions must be received by 6 pm (AEST) Friday 16 October 2026 to allow them to be considered.

Please note that while the names of individuals and organisations that lodge written suggestions will be published, signatures and personal details (including email and phone numbers) will be removed prior to any publication.
